CI-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Certified CS building

Dear all, I have a doubt regarding compliance with EAp2 in a CI certification. It will be a CI certification of 8 floors in a recently LEED CS certified building. As the building is using simulation to demonstrate compliance with EAp2, and the tenant is just adding some lighting, Is it possible to demonstrate CI EAp2 compliance using the documents from CS simulation, or do we need to update the simulation using new lighting loads? I appreciate your attention. I look forward hearing from you.

No need to update the simulation. For your project you simply need to demonstrate that you meet the mandatory provisions of the lighting section of 90.1 - Section 9.4 and demonstrate the minimum lighting power density reduction.

Thank you very much for the answer. I have another doubt. Considering that the building is certified, which documents should I submit to USGBC regarding EAp2? Just a description of the certification or detailed information about CS simulation (inputs and results)?

The prerequisite form in LEED Online will tell you what you need to submit. Neither one of your options sounds right to me but I have not looked at that form lately.
