I am working on a single building LEED project in an industry park, which has a central PV system inside. The PV power capacity has been identified and it will connect to several buildings, my building is one of them. I do not know how to estimate the amount of green power from PV to my building, as we are applying for LEED credit (EA c2).

If the PV is connected to a campus grid you can simply get the owner of the system to provide a letter which allocates a certain portion of the PV system output to your project.

The problem is that the owner may not know the portion of the PV output that goes to the target building, since the output of PV system connected to the low voltage grid on user's side (one connection point), then the electricity is distributed to different buildings as requirement. Once in operation, each building has meter to record the power from PV, but at the design level, there is no accurate measurement. My question is if USGBC will accept the owner's allocation of 100% PV power goes to my building? Anyway, my building is the only one claiming the benefit from PV system for LEED .

The actual flow of electricity does not matter. This is simply a matter of allocation for LEED. If you claim 100% then no other building connected to that system now or in the future will be able to claim any of the PV power.

Thank you, Marcus. That is clear enough.

We have a letter from the University indicating # of panels and energy production dedicated to our project. Because the renewable energy is not produced on-site, the ME checked the box in EAp2 section 1.8 indicating "the project does not use on-site renewable energy". How do I enter the off-site energy production earmarked for this project in EAc2?

Uncheck it and enter the information there and in the EAc2 form.
