Fellow SCLers,
This is a small ball item, but I recently had a conversation with a safety glove manufacturer called Traffi. They make PPE, but in particular they have a line of gloves that they promote as carbon neutral. Their organization's operations are offset with retired RECs, but one line of their gloves, LXT, is offset by a reforestation project in Sri Lanka where their manufacturing facility is. They have some other sustainability features they tout - like limiting transporation of their product in manufacturing and they are piloting a take-back program in the UK. We don't do a lot of self-perform work so purchasing gloves directly doesn't make a ton of sense for us. I thought I'd share their marketing information and contact info in case others are interested. They are distributing to the United States, through Sante Group, though they are based in the UK (if you do try to reach out know they are on UK time and their day is over by 12PM Eastern).
If someone does reach out, I'd love to hear about your experience or thoughts on their product. Feel free to let them know I gave you their contact info.
