Can I include process water savings in order to earn an Exemplary Performance point?

In LEED review comments I've been referred to the Water Use Reduction Additional Guidance document. I didn't know this was a required reference document.

Hi, I am working on an office building and the team is considering to include a car wash bay. Would I be able to classify this as process water and exclude it from the WEp1 calculation?

Correct. Since car washes are not regulated by the Energy Policy Act of 1992, it is excluded from the WEp1/WEc3 Indoor Water Use Reduction calculations.

Hello we are working on a transit facility that includes a bus wash bay. Based on the above response the water for the bus wash would also be process water. Could we include it in the V4 Indoor Water Use Reduction Credit? (NB Would not include in the Prerequisite). Thanks!
