NC-v4 LTc4:Surrounding density and diverse uses

Can a project earn points under both options?

I'm a newbie to LEED, and although this seems like a simple question, I haven't been able to find the answer with the resources I have available. For most credits, points can only be earned under one option or the other. But for this credit, I see five points possible, but only up to three points for Option 1, and up to two points for Option 2 (considering only BD+C NC). Does that mean that for this credit, projects can earn five points by complying with BOTH options?

Hi Elisabeth, Yes, you can earn 5 points if the project complies to both options. If you use the Form in LEEDonline, you can check the score with the button at the bottom of the Form.

Hi Elizabeth,  Yes, for this credit, you can earn all 5 points if you meet the requirements for both options.
With your current subscription level, you may not be able to see LEEDuser's breakdown, which is kind of a paraphrasing in normal language, but they state the exact answer you're looking for under the "LEEDuser's Viewpoint" page for this credit, here:
