Looking through credit guidance to be sure I understand the approach to calculating offsets and RECS. I see that some addenda address the Calculations section of the reference guide. Is it possible to see the language for this credit that is in the Reference Guide without buying the full hardcopy guide? is that language provided online either at the USGBC site or on LEED User?

I don't believe that the RG is available anywhere without purchase. Maybe you can find someone with a copy or an online subscription. The online subscription is the way to go becasue you don't have to worry about it becoming dated with addenda, etc. as changes are made.

Lisa, in the LEED v4.1 page they list the various tools for BD+C and other rating systems. Look for the v4.1 BD+C October 2021 Guide. It is an enhanced rating system with a lot of the guide information (275 pages or so), especially for the energy optimization and renewable energy credits. It may have all the calc info you need.
