To calculate the total cost of materials, can an ID+C project use the default of 45% of total cost of construction? The v4.1 calculator has a separate 'Instructions' tab for BD+C projects (which includes the default method) and ID+C projects (which only has actual materials cost). Does that mean ID+C projects do not have the option to use the default calculation method? Or would they be able to determine 45% of construction costs outside of the calculator and just enter the result of the calculation?
Thanks!

From what we see with many teams, calculating the 45% of total cost separately and then just entering that value for materials cost is a good way to go. Just note, you do need to inlcude furniture cost for IDC projects, and if that is blank they will ask about it.
