NC-2009 PIf2:Project Summary Details

Calculating new Construction and existing renovated GFS

On our project we are removing all of the floors, roof and basement slabs to be replaced with new. The exterior walls are to remain.Should the new GFS calculation include the new basement slabs, floors and roof? Should the existing calculation just include the exterior wall thickness since the floors and roof will be replaced with new?

Alfred, it sounds like your project is completely a major renovation instead of any new construction, in which case you'd report 100% of the square footage as renovated (you aren't creating any new area in the building, just gutting and replacing what was there previously).
