bus rapid transit stop

what is the definition of a bus rapid transit stop? Can a bus transfer station count towards this? or Greyhound station? I have a project that can meet all the criteria except this one. It is located in a town in a rural area, rapid commuter buses are not available.

Erin, please refer to the reference guide as the definition is listed: a bus rapid transit is an enhanced bus system that operates on exclusive bus lanes or other transit rights-of-way. The system is designed to combine the flexibility of buses with the efficiency of rail. It sounds like your project might not be a good fit for this credit given the information you provided and the definition.

I would like to explore whether the airport limousine bus service can be classified as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), given that it utilizes highways after a brief journey on regular roads. Once on the highways, the service operates without traffic signals, allowing for a direct route to the airport without any signal stops.
