i m working on cerifiying a residential tower ground+52 ,floor area is 22982 sqft and the site area is 56282 sqft.
the total building square footage is 892048 sqft.
as i know the building area to sire area ratio should be calculated like this :22983/56282=39% while in the form it is calculated 892048/56282=1584%
can some one explain to me is the value in the form logic or i missunderstood the required data.
regards,
tarek

Sounds like the form is using the building square footage number. Does this raise any issues for you in terms of documentation?

it doesn t till now...i haven t submit it for review...but i guess 1584 % is not a logic number while 39% is... i m just checking is my interpretation of the form is correct or i am wrong...
another question why don t we see real examples of leed 2009 approved buildings forms (with explanationsif possible) i think that is very necessary to have on this site and this will market the site more as people will see as CIR cost is saved...dn t u think

Tarek, we'd love to give more examples of completed 2009 forms, but USGBC owns the forms and they have given us limited permission to do that. It's something we'll try to do more of in the future.
