We are working on a LEED v4 project in an urban core. We are targeting 2 points for MRc5 and have an aggressive Construction & Demolition Waste Management Plan underway.
The project has just begun construction. The soil that is being excavated from the site has bits of broken bricks in it. We are assuming that this soil is still excluded from MRc5 calculations. Can you please confirm this?

The soil is excluded. The bricks are not. Can they be separated?

Ralph, thanks for your reply! We also got a response from GBCI on this and here is what they said: "the soil and bricks should be excluded from the waste management calculations. As mentioned in the credit requirements, "exclude excavated soil, land-clearing debris from calculations".

Thanks for posting GBCI's response on both forums.
