BITuser experts

I'm working on the Best Practice pages, and I want to verify the role of "BITuser experts" (analogous to LEEDuser experts, as shown on this credit page). My questions:

  1. Will we have BITuser experts?
  2. If so, will every Best Practice have an assigned expert, or will only some best practices have one?

Note that the role of the expert, among others, is to keep an eye on forum discussions relating to that Best Practice. They will receive email notification when something new is posted.

Hi Andrea, 1. Yes, definitely! 2. Every Best Practice will have at least one expert, but we also have discussed actually doing up to two per BP, to ensure there is lots of capacity to drive forum participation. In terms of site structure, is it big deal to have two guest experts per BP? Thanks,

Thanks for the quick reply, Jenny. Yes, we can display two experts if needed.

Related to this topic: as we pin down our guest expert roster, what type of info do we need them to supply or steps to onboard them into the system? For example, headshot and brief bio? And/or, do they just need to set up a regular profile with the site when the time is right? Thanks, Jenny

Paula is working on a one-page onboarding sheet for LEEDuser experts right now. Angela--feel free to ask her to share that when it's ready, and we can pull from that for BITuser experts.

Do we have a place where we are parking names associated with each BP? I know we had a couple new experts offer their time this week.

Yep, it’s in the Google sheet matrix for BITuser development. Jenny Carney, LEED Fellow Vice President, Sustainability & Energy Phone: +1 312 391 2041 Email: jenny.carney@wsp.com F
