Hi all,
In our survey we had a few people note that their cars run on biodiesel. While this fuel isn't listed in the EBOM manual's definition of alternative-fuel vehicles, I feel like it should count. Thoughts?
Thanks!

Drew - As far as I know, the USGBC hasn't taken a public position on biodiesel as an alternative fuel. I think that most would agree that it fits the definition reasonably well, but I'd defer to more knowledgeable folks than myself on the relative merits of various alternative fuels. In terms of EBOM compliance, my suggestion would be for you to include it in your survey and clearly label it, and include an explanation as to why you think it should be included. Sounds like a winner to me.
