NC-2009 SSc4.2:Alternative Transportation—Bicycle Storage and Changing Rooms

Bicycle Storage in basement - accessibility

Good morning, I am working in a high-rise building Project, I would like to know if we can locate the bicycle storage in basement. The possible problem here is that the access path will be the same that car, i.e. there is not an exclusive path for bikes. Thank you for your help!

While not ideal, that should be acceptable. You might consider making some short term bike racks available near the main entry at grade for visitors, and locate the long term bike parking in the garage for employees.
