I have a case of a manufacturing facility, in which my only option is to compare against historical data.
Historical energy data for my last three years are largery increasing due to increaase in facility's production capacity, in which the facility did purchase new manufacturing equipment which relulted in an increasing energy consumption curve along the past three years.
My question is: can I normalize the energy curve, to be energy per produced products for example, in that case I can demonstrate my savings using the same metric as well?
If not I don't have other options, as there's no surrounding buildings whom share their energy data...
Any help would be highly appreciated...
