Is it acceptable to use a volume metric for one waste stream (landfill waste) and a weight metric for another (recycling)?

Sorry if this is a repetitive question, but just need clarification- we are meant to be weighing batteries such as AAAs and AAs prior to disposal? and same with light bulbs?

Check out the FAQ above for info on batteries and lamps. If you recycle batteries during the performance period you can include them in your calculations (which will help your overall diversion rate). 100% of lamps that contain mercury must be recycled because they're hazardous waste, and you're not allowed to include them in your calculations.
