This is probably an incredibly basic question for this forum, but I have been chasing it around in circles for hours and am hoping someone can give me a definitive answer. I am fairly new to the construction spec industry and have been mostly an admin, and the LEED projects that I have worked on up until now have been LEED 2009 BD+C or LEEDv4 BD+C, but I am trying to sort out the Submittal and Performance and Design Criteria language for a LEEDv4 Homes Mid-Rise project, and I keep getting hung up on the language referring to CA Section 01350, Appendix B, New Single Family Residence Scenario.
On the one hand, I think it belongs in there even though the project is not single-family because I have not found anywhere that says it is NOT relevant, and at least one place that says that it IS relevant. But on the other hand, when I read Appendix B itself in the newest version I can find (January 2017), it says at the top "This is an informative appendix and not part of the required portion of this Standard Method. It is the intent of the CDPH-IAQ to further review and develop the Single Family Residence Scenario for inclusion in final form in Version 2.0 of the Standard Method." So I am doubting myself.
Perhaps I am massively overthinking this, but if some kind person could give me some insight here, I would really appreciate it. A few words on what is different between this credit and the low-emitting material credit in LEEDv4 BD+C (if any) would go a long way toward sorting out my confusion. Thanks in advance.

Kim,
While it seems like the Single Family Residence Scenario would be most applicable, unfortunately, it isn't published yet. Therefore, you can use the default private office scenario.

To add to this, is it safe to say Greenguard Gold Certification will address the CDPH requirements? It naturally makes life so much easier for our design team.
