NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Baseline for Residential mixed use

Greetings,

At the moment I'm modeling a 15 floor residential complex (about 35 000 m2), in which the ground level and part of the basement are various retail shops and some administrative zones. Their area is 2005 m2.

The question is: should this area (2005 m2) be modeled as System 3, or as separate HVAC system for each of these two floors?

The predominant condition is residential (System 1). It appears as if G3.1.1 Exception a applies to the other spaces, so a system 3 makes sense.
