Is there guidance anywhere as to how to interpret the Institute of Parking Engineers tables? There are many columns, but none say exactly "baseline ratio". Or what it is a ratio of. Parking spaces per peak occupants ?

Hi Susan,
Can you be more specific about what section/page/table you're looking at in the book? There is a list of definitions at the beginning that may define exactly what you are looking at.
For example:
"Parking Supply Ratio: For land uses with data on parking supply, an average parking supply ratio is computed. This ratio is expressed in terms of spaces per an independent variable (spaces per 1,000 sq. ft. GFA or spaces per dwelling unit). The ratio is based on total units, rather than occupied units."
Does that help?
