NC-v4 LTc7:Reduced parking footprint

Baseline parking for a DATACENTER

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a DATACENTER project, and I can't find the baseline parking capacity for this type of building. It is not included in the "TABLE 1 - Base Ratios for parking spaces, by building type." neither in the "Institute of Transportation Engineers’ Transportation Planning Handbook, 4th edition, Table 11-12."?

Which of these 2 document references should be used?

And for a DATA CENTER which type of building do I have to use ? Warehouse ? Industrial park ? Other ?

Thanks a lot for your answers.

Marion

Hello Marion,  I saw your post from 2020, I am stuck in a same data center project, where LEED guideline doesn't provide a baseline for data center. Could you let me know your experience and what baseline did you select for your project?

Hello everyone,  Our team has some experience with this. We have either used "Warehouse" as the baseline for full GSF OR if there is some office space associated with the project, allocated that office space type SF to "Office" baseline and data center SF to "Warehouse" baseline.
