Baseline HVAC System Type

Hi all,

When selecting the baseline HVAC system type via Table G3.1.1.A, does the fuel source for service water heating also need to be taken into consideration? For example, the proposed building HVAC system design is all electric (ASHPs), however, the service water heating boilers are natural gas. So will the baseline building be Electric or will it be a Fossil Fuel/Electric Hybrid?

No you only account for the fuel source for space heating, not service hot water. In your example use the Electric column.
