NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Baseline HVAC System accordint Table 6.8.1

Hello, I am modeling a Baseline System 2, PTHP and a doubt has arrised:

  • I supposed the corresponding Table to model this kind of system was T6.8.1B - Electrically Operated Unitary and Appliedd Heat Pump, Single Packaged .

  • However, in t he v4_Minimum_Energy_Calculator-v06.xlsm, on the AirSide HVAC tab, it says that the corresponding  TAble for Systems 1 & 2 is  TAble 6.8.1 D,

Since Systems 1 and 2 are primarily intended for residential and hotel applications, it's appropriate to consider a packaged terminal heat pump (PTAC/HP) for System 2. The efficiency requirements for such a system should comply with the values listed in Table 6.8.1D of ASHRAE Standard 90.1. For System 4, refer to Table 6.8.1B for applicable efficiency criteria. Please ensure that only the cooling capacity is used when determining both the heating and cooling efficiency, in accordance with Note (c) under Table 6.8.1D.
