NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

BASELINE - Fan Power adjustment

Greetings, In the design project we are modeling, there are systems which In the Baseline model are to be classified to System 9, System 11 (90.1-3013 for Data Centers) and Parking garage ventilation. In the design project all these ventilation and AHU equipment serving these systems are structured with sound attenuators, filters and all of them are with fully ducted return/exhaust system. Following the G3.1.2.10, there isn't the component "A" in their formula (System 9 and 11). Does it mean that for these systems there will be no Fan Power Adjustment allowed regardless of what is in the project design. The parking garage ventilation is not mentioned there, but its fan power estimation is as this of System 9, meaning also no Adjustment. Your assistance is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Correct there are no fan power adjustments for a system 9. Not sure about a system 11 but sounds like you are not seeing it so probably no adjustments for that either.
