Does anyone what are the base ratios recommended by the Parking Consultants Council, as shown in the Institute of Transportation Engineers’ Transportation Planning Handbook, 3rd edition, Tables 18-2 through 18-4 for a Data Center? Unfortunately, Data Centers are not referenced in the tables. Would it qualify as "Warehousing" which apparently seems to be of similar use in comparison to other facilities referenced in the standard?
Alternatively, could a Data Center qualify as "Data Processing, telemarketing" referenced in table 1, page 115 of the LEED v4 Reference Guide?
However, the two options above differ significantly from each other.

Hi Mohsin,
Initially we had a communication with a GBCI representative who agreed that the base ratios for "Data Processing, telemarketing" was the appropriate space type for DC. However, the reviewer commented that the parking capacity base ratio calculated using the "data processing, telemarketing" building type, did not seem appropriate for this project, whereas "warehousing" would be the most appropriate selection for it. In addition, it was noted that projects with multiple space types could calculate and separately track the base ratio for each use.
When resubmitting the project we made reference to the previous communication with the GBCI and highlighted that warehouse refers to “buildings used to store goods, manufactured products, merchandise, raw materials, or personal belongings, such as self-storage” and data centers refer to “buildings specifically designed and equipped to meet the needs of high density computing equipment such as server racks, used for data storage and processing”. Hence, the base ratio was calculated using the "data processing" for DC floor area and "office" type for administrative floor area.
In any case very clearly justify your selection of use type or use more than one types if your building includes spaces other than DC such as offices.
