Has anyone used Ashpalt with recycled asphalt? Reading the forums, it seems it will apply, but I'm having trouble determining what possible percentage of recycled content (pre or post consumer) that I might be able to get from Asphalt. Anyone with experience in this would be most helpful. Thanks.

Hi Rick, did you get an answer to this? Would RAP in new asphalt mixes be considered pre- or post-consumer recycled content?

usually state DOT offices have specs that will define a % recycled content. any suppliers that can provide those DOT asphalt mixes can confirm their source of recycled content to answer both questions: what % and if pirc or pcrc.
any of these items can go into asphalt, hot mix.
