Hospitality-CI-v4 EAc2:Optimize energy performance

ASHRAE 50% Advanced Energy Design Guides is not applicable to the base building.

We are using Option 2. Prescriptive compliance

The project is LEED ID+C Hospitality. So, there is not an AEDG for hospitality buildings.

Can I use another AEDG, for example AEDG Large Hospitals, to achieve LEED points related to Base Building Systems? Or the Base Building Systems compliance is not available for buildings that are not included in ASHRAE 50% Advanced Energy Design Guides?

I believe that those points are not available for building types not covered by an AEDG. Each AEDG indicates in the beginning which project types are applicable. That said there appears to have been a study to create a AEDG 50 for lodging. https://www.pnnl.gov/main/publications/external/technical_reports/PNNL-18773.pdf Maybe the systems in this document would be acceptable? Not sure so I would ask GBCI.
