Talking about a VRF HVAC system. Is it a mandatory requirement that the VRF condenser and evaporative units must be ARI Certified, according with the Standard 90.1-2007? They should be labeled with the Certification?
The VRF system appears in a most recent version of the standard (2010), but are not specifically listed in the 2007, so it's mandatory to have an ARI Certification? Our equioments come from abroad and even they are efficient, we have no ARI Certification. Any comment or previous experience will help. Thank you.

A letter from the manufacturer indicating that the equipment manufactured abroad is the same and would meet ARI Certification would suffice.
