Hi all,
The project is an industrial buildings
The project uses Water cooled Centrifugal chiller which is an existing one and relocated from another country to be fitted for a New industrial Building in India. Are there any trade off in terms of COP as existing COP is 5.8 Further The total HVAC Load is 400 Tonnes, and the chiller capacity 2 no's 300 Tonnes
So in this case kindly advice.
Thanks in advance

Once you relocate a chiller to a new facility it comes under the same 90.1 requirements as a new chiller. So the efficiency must meet the minimum values in Table 6.8.1c. This type of chiller over 300 tons has a minimum efficiency of 6.1 COP. This is a mandatory provision. If you can't meet this mandatory provision the project is not eligible for LEED certification as it can't meet this prerequisite.
