I am modelling for LEED GROUP - v4 BD+C: CS. Project has 40 Office buildings shared with same basement and served with multiple Water Cooled Chillers as cooling source.
For LEED Group Certification I am currently prioritising to model single building, please advise what would be applicable strategy for Propose case Model?
Case 1: Model with actual Efficiency of Water Cooled Chiller, SFP of FAHU, SFP of PUMPS, Thermal Recovery wheel Efficiencies etc...
Case 2: As the building receive only Chilled Water, so consider the building as District Energy System, hence model the building as per Streamlined DES Modelling guidelines described as per the Credit Requirements.
I am presuming, the applicable methodology would be CASE 1 in my project. Please advise.

If the central plant only serves these buildings then you model case 1. It is not considered a district system unless it serves buildings outside the project in question.
