NC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performance
Our project is a bed-and-breakfast with guest rooms that are conditioned using PTHP units. A VRF system conditions the common areas with a DOAS that uses a chiller and hot water boiler. There is also an electric heater in the crawl space since there is mechanical equipment located there.
So my baseline system would be System #1-PTAC. I would use that to model all spaces, including the VRF spaces and the crawl space? Does Appendix G only allow for one baseline system?

A portion of our building envelope is historic. Can we exclude it from our model?

See section G3.1.1 and apply any exceptions. If none apply then there is only one baseline system.
