Background:
In a C&S building we suggest a Tenant fit out to comply with credit IEQ_c8.2, where we show meeting rooms, corridors and an office space layout resulting in a grater quantity of people of that responding to the "default occupancy". The questions are:
1. Do we have to consider this layout for the PIForms?
2. Do we have to consider this quantity of people and space occupation types for IEQ_p1 calculations?
Thank you

Hi Paula,
We are also facing the same questions in our project. Were you able to submit your PIF3 and IEQ8.2 forms without clarifications from the reviewer?

We try to make the number of desks for the CS office space approx. equal to the "default occupancy" (by simply creating larger or smaller desk spaces / private offices).
However, we recently had a LEED Review come back that said:
"The total regularly occupied area presented here (177,000 sq ft) is inconsistent with the total regularly occupied area reported in EQc8.2: Daylight and Views - Views (112,500 sq ft). All square footage values must be reported consistently across all submittals. Revise the form, as necessary, to ensure that the total regularly occupied area is consistent across all submittals."
The difference in SF is due to a proposed future layout that includes things like corridors, break rooms, elevator lobbies, etc. But since these spaces are not actually designed as such as part of the CS project, they were considered as potentially regularly occupied space for PIf3.

Hi all,
Any word on this? We have a similar issue, and I'm trying to determine what to put for our regularly occupied space in the Space Usage Table. Our IEQc8.1 and 8.2 have different numbers because Daylight is showing ALL open floor space, while Views is using mocked-up tenant improvements, i.e. only counting regularly occupied spaces within those layouts - not including circulation, etc. Do I have a fatal flaw not having them match to begin with? I was always under the impression you did Daylight with total spaces and Views with the mock-ups.
Thanks,
Hannah
