Announcing bi-monthly SCL network calls

Hello SCL,

We've heard you ask for more ways to connect with your SCL peers. So, we are happy to announce that we will now be holding bi-monthly calls where the entire SCL network is invited. These calls will be limted to SCL members (with the exception of guest speakers) so please don't share the information with colleagues. 

The calls will be hosted the second Monday of every other month at 1pm ET. We are working on getting a calendar invite solution that will work across platforms. But in the meantime, please hold November 13 at 1pm for our first meeting. 

Our first topic will be discussing Lendlease's Scope 3 Emissions Protocol. Our very own Joan Gibbons will give a brief overview. But try to review ahead of time so we can use the time to really dig into the details. Does this reporting boundary provide a good template for the industry? Would you make different calls for your own company?

Hi everyone, Just a reminder that our bi-monthly SCL call will take place next Monday, March 11th at 1pm ET. This month we'll get an update on AGC's Climate Change Working Group and the Task Force on Decarbonization and Carbon Reporting. We’ll also discuss how we, as SCL, should position ourselves in relation to AGC and how we can bolster or reinforce their work in scaling sustainability. We're convening because a draft for LEEDv5 is out for public comment and, thanks in part to this SCL network, there are more credits that reward sustainable construction practices.
