Does anyone have experience with this open ACP? Under v2009, the energy model could take into account renewable energy generation and count the reduction in energy cost towards the performance of the building. I had thought that under v4, this was no longer available, but it seems that demonstrated reductions in source emissions and GHG emissions can be used for the performance of this credit.

Renewables still count under optimize energy performance under v4. You just have to demonstrate minimum compliance without them.
That pilot allow you to use different energy metrics. You do need to justify why you used an alternative metric and describe how it influenced the project. You can't just use a different metric because it gives you more points. Doing so misses the point.
