Airport projects now have space type options available in LEED Online

According to USGBC, Airport projects now have space type options available in LEED Online.

I was looking at LEED on line and could not find any specific reference to airports. Can you please clarify ? Which specific LEED features were developed for airport building’s ? Where can I find these references ?

I prefer Green Globes for airports due to the flexibility, but the article might be confusing that there was an airport rating system - there isn't. The upgrades were related to space types of airports such as concourse gate areas, control tower, etc. since many projects might include replacement or additions of one or more of these specific space types at a time. i.e. there would be very few NC projects that were new greenfield airports or in a few cases a major renovation of an entire facility. The far more common use case would be major renovation or additions of specific sections of an airport. If you were registered prior to the release of this report you have to update to receive the new space types, which was May 2018. Airport space types in LEED Online

Airport: Public Order/Fire/Police
Airport: Vehicle Service/Repair
Airport: Hangar
Airport: Control Tower
Airport: Distribution Center
Airport: Other

I don't think there is a specific guidance - enter the project details as any other LEED project, when the option comes up to select the space-types these listed above will be available. (if you were registered after May 2018.) What is the scope of your project in terms of new building or major renovation?
