Hi,
We are working on a tablet manufacturing facility which is fully air conditioned (Only cooling, no heating requirement). More than 50% of the areas have RH less than 40% and temperature of 22degC to be maintained . The other 50% of the areas have a temperature requirement of 22degC and RH less than 60% to be maintained. Can we model identical air conditioning in base and proposed case for the areas with RH less than 40% requirement as these areas have AC for process requirement?

The humidity levels should be modeled identically.

Ok. Thanks for the reply.
But can we consider the Air conditioning system identical in base and proposed case as the system is mainly for process load requirement (Humidity levels are low as per process requirement)?

Probably not.
You can only consider the entire HVAC system serving an area as process if that system is exclusively design for the process only and not the people in that space. There is potential grey area here so if you want to try it make sure to provide a very thorough explanation and justification to do so.
