Under LEED 2009 it was possible to do weighted averages when providing both EV charging stations and LEFE parking; we often did this when a client was providing less then the required number of EV spaces to fully achieve that option (but still wanted to do it) and then we would adjust our LEFE count to accommodate.

We have a client who would like to provide 10% EV charging stations. Would this allow us to eliminate the need for the 5% LEFE or would we still need to have these two distinct parking designations... LEFE and EV?
