Hi
Our project's base building kitchen faucet has a 1.1gpm flow rate but would need to be upgraded to a 0.5gpm to reach our target effeciency. The problem is the project contractors are having a hard time sourcing out a 0.5gpm kitchen faucet forcing us to open the idea of using aeraotrs. How do LEED Online reviewers asses the use of aerators? Since we require a 0.5gpm for the kitchen faucet, could we use an aerator with a 0.5gpm flow rate rather than upgrade the kitchen faucet itself?

Mary Ann, I am pretty sure that tamper-resistant aerators are a valid way to earn this credit.

Carla, did the LEED reviewer scrutinize the 0.5gpm aerator for the kitchen faucet?
