Hi,
The Mechnical team on our project is providing separate gas meters as reuqired by the credit, but they specified that the meters are supplied by the utility provider (Nation Grid in this case) and they dont have information or control over the meter functionalities. GBCI review has pointed out they gas meter cutsheets needs to be submitted per the prescribed requirements. How is this typically handled by other teams? Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Why would the utility install gas submeters? That part doesn't make sense to me.

Wait, are these actual gas submeters or just the gas meter on the service coming into the building? If it's the latter, then it would make sense why the utility provider would install a gas meter. But I'm with Marcus if it's the former, I mean if the utility does have energy efficiency in mind as well as builing automation, then I'm hoping they would install smart gas submeters.
But my question is if anyone have found a manufacturer that provides smart gas submeters, cause I need one for the boilers.

Smart gas meters do exist on the market. A quick Google search brings up several options.
