Hi,
We have Fire Station project and submitted Advanced Meter Cutsheet for Electrical.
However, LEED Reviewer Team still required us to provide support documents which includes meters for whole building energy sources. We have natural gas, Gas Water Heater, are they consider as energy source? If so, what kind of document we need to provide to satisfy this requirement?
thanks and appreciate input.

Natural gas is a source, a gas water heater is an energy end use. A whole building meter is by fuel source so a whole building meter for natural gas and electricity. You will also need a submeter for any gas space heating or hot water if the total consumption is greater than 10% of the total energy use. Ideally you would have a metering plan on a drawing or cut sheet or picture of installed meter, etc. Document that the meters have been included in the design and/or installed.

Hi Marcus,
Thanks so much for respond.
Our gas space heating and hot water consumption is less than 10% of the total energy use.
Therefore, this project will only requires meter for electrical.
Can we just provide a narrative that our Bldg. still comply for this credit? Pls advise
thanks,
Susan

The documentation required is contained within the credit form in LEED Online. You can also access them on USGBC's web site.
