CI-v4 EAc3:Advanced energy metering

Advanced energy metering - specific qualifications

We have a 250k sf outpatient facility under construction on a hospital campus and we will be providing compliant electrical submeters on panels serving lighting and receptacle loads (the electrical end-user loads that are greater or equal to 10% of the total energy consumed).

The question I have for the forum, if I have 208/120V receptacle panels and 2 or 3 branch circuits on some panels feed non-receptacle loads (120V task lights, unit heater, etc.), will the project not meet the requirements for the credit? Do I need to serve all non-receptacle type loads from a different panel?

You should move those circuits to another panel or some how be able to subtract their energy use from the overall panel usage.
