Many of you have heard me speak of our foundations effort to host a conference in Houston this November that is focusing on the social and economic side of community resilience preparedness. While we purposely are emphasizing these topic areas, we do see the importance of these conversations being witnessed by the design and planning community so that they (we) can learn how to better address these broad community issues through our designs of the built environment. Amongst others, our own Nadav Malin will be our moderator throughout, Alex Wilson and Betsy Del Monte will be two of our subject matter experts and our headline keynote is Steve Wymer, the VP for Global Policy at Nextdoor.com.
