Southface will need a procedure for adding and assigning SMEs to the BITuser site. Normally you could just create the user in BITuser and assign the role right there, but we have the added complication of Salesforce SSO, which means the sequence will have a few extra steps.
Here's the basic outline:
- Create an account for the SME on Salesforce.
- Log into Salesforce as that user, and then go to the BITuser site.
- This will automatically create a linked account for them on Drupal.
- Log out of the BITuser site and log in using your editor account.
- Follow the instructions for adding the "BITuser expert" role to that user and assigning them to the appropriate Best Practices.
Shane/Dennis: Do your editors have the ability to create users in Salesforce? If so, you should provide those instructions to them, and then I can provide the details of what will need to happen on the BITuser side.
