CS-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Achieving prerequisite for project that was converted from VRF to DCS

I am working with a project with design revisions from VRF to DES.  How can we meet prerequisite if the the initial evaluation chiller efficiency is 0.63 kW/TR (Cooling Capacity is 2300TR and max input power is 1456kW). Thank you.

Assuming you’re following Option 1 (whole-building energy simulation), meeting the prerequisite requires a 2% improvement for core and shell projects compared to an ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Appendix G baseline building. Achieving this 2% improvement depends on many additional factors besides cooling plant performance (envelope improvements, lighting power reductions, service water heating equipment and potential demand reductions, air-side HVAC measures, etc.).
