CI-2009 MRc1.1:Tenant Space—Long-Term Commitment

7 Year Lease and 5 Year Option to Renew

The tenant has a 7 year lease currently with an option to renew for 5 years. Would this comply with the 10 year lease option. Crissy

Crissy, A 10-year commitment must be documented. The option to renew does not demonstrate that the tenant will remain in the space for 10 years.
