2 out of 3 Categories... can they be mixed?

For this credit, 2 of the 3 acoustic categories (HVAC Background Noise, Sound Transmission, and
Reverberation Time) are required to meet the credit.

Question: Can we select a different 2 sets of categories for
different spaces, or does it have to be the same 2 categories for all spaces in the project?

Hi Iris, From our interpretation of the credit wording, use of different sets of categories does not appear to be explicitly prohibited. However in our experience and professional opinion, this mixed approach by space type would not be consistent with the intent of the credit. Beyond this, we would advise contacting USGBC directly for a formal response/interpretation prior to taking this approach with your design team.
