NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performance

I just wanted to verify that "Two (2) points mandatory for all LEED for New Construction projects registered after June 26, 2007" rule is no longer in effect. Referring to this: http://www.usgbc.org/Docs/Archive/General/Docs3198.pdf I've had a few people mention this to me, but I thought that LEED v2009 USGBC folded this level of performance into EAp2, so the 2-point minimum in EAc1 does not apply anymore. Would just like to confirm. Thanks!

The 2 point minimum only applied to LEED v2.2 projects.
