NC-v4 SSc2:Site development - protect or restore habitat

100% greenfield site

Hi our project is a complete greenfield site, a desert land with no vegetation. How do we comply with this credit requirement ? Option 1 says 40% of greenfield site must be preserved and 30% of previously disturbed areas must be restored. By barricading 40% of the greenfield site during construction and providing supporting documents stating that no such disturbed areas exist in the project, do we achieve this requirement ?

There is a confusion because the step by step guidance step 4 says 100% greenfield sites must follow option 2 i.e financial support.

As far I know, in such cases you have to follow option-02 as option one is talking about restoring 30% from all portions of the site identified as previously developed and you have no previously developed land.

I agree that the wording seems to be contradictory. I think that what you propose meets the requiremetns. THe Last Bullet point in Step 2 of "Step-by-step guidance says "·· If the entire project site is greenfield, preserve 40% of the total project area." By itself, that point is clear.
