Cross-check the available RP credits against your preliminary project scorecard. Note which RP credits you are already pursuing, as well as ones you may not have been pursuing but may want to consider based on the bonus points available. 

Identify which Regional Priority (RP) credits are available for your project's zipcode by checking the USGBC’s website.

Each type of equipment is subject to specific sustainability criteria. Check your equipment inventory and equipment spec sheets against these criteria, and document in the tracking form on LEED Online.

Begin by creating an inventory of the portable powered cleaning equipment currently in use at your project facility. The inventory should include the name, manufacturer and model number of each type of equipment, the number of pieces of each type of equipment, the date each piece was purchased, and the price at which the equipment was purchased.

Plan on tracking the progress of RP credits throughout project design and construction to keep your project in line with its certification goals.

Retain manufacturers’ data and design specifications for your fire suppression system, confirming that it meets the credit requirements. 

Put in place a program of preventive maintenance for the equipment end-of-life management.  

Provide refrigerant leak-detection equipment in the same location as your HVAC&R equipment.
