BIO

I am an environmental engineer with a love for buildings; green and healthy buildings. I cofounded the consulting firm Areca in 2020 to drive climate action and improve people's quality of life through tailored solutions in sustainable building, corporate sustainability, and strategies to reduce GHG emissions, including the technologies necessary to achieve the goals. Previous experiences include managing sustainable building operations and wellbeing at WeWork, in all its Latin America locations. Besides that, I am a LEED certification specialist since 2011 and WELL AP since 2018. As LEED project leader, I've coordinated certification in more than 30 buildings, adding up more than 950k square meters. Currently holding WELL AP, LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP ID+C and EDGE Expert credentials. Another one of my passions are cities, and for the past few years I have been part of different volunteer citizen organizations with projects in sustainable and equitable cities, affordable housing, women empowerment and urban mobility.
