BIO

Jalal has more than 35 years of mechanical engineering experience including more than 10 years of teaching experience at the university level. He has worked on many challenging and unique projects for government, industrial, automotive, health care and institutional clients and is licensed to practice engineering in seven states including Arizona, California and Nevada.

Jalal also has more than 15 years of involvement in USGBC programs; managed and worked on many projects pursuing different USGBC LEED® Certification programs throughout the country. When it comes to the sustainability and green building design, Jalal would help in LEED® Administration/Facilitation, Building Energy Modeling, Building Commissioning, M&V, Energy Auditing and Building Design.

Jalal also represent building owners as a third party verification auditor for performance contracting projects.

Jalal is a Past Member at-large at the USGBC - Arizona Chapter Board of Directors and a Past Member of the Central Arizona Governing Council, Chair of the Communication Committee, and past member of the education committee (Detroit and S. Nevada chapters).

Jalal presented LEED® Knowledge formal Seminars with hundreds of attendees. As a speaker Jalal presented the USGBC's different LEED® programs along with green building design in multiple professional events.

Jalal hold the AEE CEM and ACG CxA Certificates.

Licensed Professional engineer in 8 States.
